• Broadband access, like rural electrification when it came to western Wisconsin, changed the way of life for so many. Families and businesses in our region need broadband to the last mile if we are going to compete and keep the younger generation from moving away. We need to keep prioritizing access to this critical infrastructure in the Legislature, and that’s something I will prioritize.

• The quality of our roads, bridges, and infrastructure impacts all of us. Whether it’s the agriculture economy, safety concerns going to and from work or school, or just enjoying the beautiful coulee region these are the arteries that sustain us and our communities. All levels of government must work together to ensure our transportation network is prioritized and the funding is spent wisely.

• The cost of everything is increasing, and it’s squeezing families harder every week. Inflation attacks everyday necessities and strangles our economy. We must provide relief for working families and those struggling to balance their checkbooks, seniors living on limited income desiring to stay in their homes, and small businesses trying to stay afloat. That means working at the state level to reduce the amount of money our government takes out of their paychecks. Tax relief and common sense fiscal responsibility in state government will help combat inflation and its negative impacts on our community.
